No utmpx entry. You must exec “login” from the lowest level “shell”.
If you encounter this error, login with a regular user, become root and clear the file /var/adm/wtmpx
root@solaris:/var/adm # ls -l wtmpx
-rw-r–r– 1 adm adm 84505380 Jul 4 08:52 wtmpxroot@solaris:/var/adm # > wtmpx
